Sylvia Acosta

Sylvia Acosta, 57 of Monahans was born in Monahans on October 12, 1958 she passed away at her home surrounded by her family on Saturday, September 17, 2016. She was loved by many for her infectious smile, love of dancing and her lifelong passion for the Dallas Cowboys.
Sylvia is survived by her mother, Delma Acosta, her brother Raul Acosta; sisters, Jeanette Garcia, Christina Ramirez, Brenda Garcia and Sulema Acosta. 9 nieces, 6 nephews and many more great nieces and great nephews.
She is preceded in death by her father Antonio Acosta and her brother Abel Acosta and both maternal and paternal grandparents.

Rosary will be 7:00 PM Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at Harkey Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at St. John Evangelist Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Monahans Memorial Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Willie Willis, Joshua Fritsche, Tyus Porras, Luis Acosta, Alfredo Ramirez, Joseph Ramirez, Angelica Ramirez, Stephanie Chavez, and Julian Acosta.
