Terry Lynn Coffey was born on May 7, 1956 in Phoenix, Arizona to Zana Pearl Coffey (Deceased) and Johnny Clayton Coffey (Deceased). He had one brother, Darrell Glenn Coffey (Deceased).
Soon afterward, the family moved to the upper valley of El Paso, Tx near Terry's grandparents. They lived there for several years and then moved to the family ranch in Paint Rock, Tx. His parents hoped to make a living by ranching. After 6 years, they moved back to El Paso for his to father to begin driving a semi-truck.
Terry graduated from Coronado High School in El Paso. Then he worked for Santa Fe Railway for 2 years. The family moved to Monahans, Tx in 1980 for his parents and brother Darrell, to begin driving semi-trucks in the oilfield. Terry attended Computer classes at UTPD and after he graduated, he eventually settled in Ketchikan, Alaska where he was employed as a Computer Programmer for the City. He enjoyed traveling to many different States and to China where he met his wife Yu Min Coffey who survives him.
He is survived by his wife Yu Min, his son Kyle Yusu Coffey and his daughter Amy Pearl Coffey. He is also survived by his sister in law Debbie Coffey (Darrell). He is survived by several Aunts, Uncles and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at Crossroad Fellowship Church in Monahans, Texas.
