Betty Walls

Betty Walls, 84, passed away on Thursday, January 5, 2017 in Monahans, Texas. She was born in Haskell, Texas to William Isaac Hurt and Ruby Lea "Worley" Hurt on May 2, 1932.

Betty married her husband Art Walls in November 1960. She was a great mother, loved helping with Ward County Senior Citizen Center driving a van in the early 1980's, and she also owned and operated Betty's Ceramics from 1988 till 1998.

Betty is survived by three sons, Cotton Hayes and wife Pam of Odessa, Texas, Ronny Hayes of Glencoe, Oklahoma, Jackie Hayes and wife Pat of Midland, Texas, two daughters, Susan King and husband Richard of Monahans, Texas, Tammy Walls of Bitburg, Germany, and one sister, Sue Olgin Smith of Monahans, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her husband Art C. Walls, one sister, Laverne Warden, and one brother, Bobby Hurt.
