Betty Ann White

November 12, 1956 — May 16, 2026

Monahans, Texas

Betty Ann Stafford-White, of Monahans, Texas, passed away peacefully on May 16, 2026, surrounded by love. She was born on November 12, 1956, in Clarksville, Texas, to Earl and Ruby Stafford.

Betty graduated from Monahans High School in 1975. Shortly after graduation, she married the love of her life, Robert White, on November 21, 1975. Together, they built a life centered on family, service, and devotion to those they loved.

After high school, Betty attended beauty school and was blessed with her first son, Chad White, on July 27, 1977, followed by her second son, John White, on December 21, 1982. Being a mother was one of Betty’s greatest joys. She was deeply involved in her sons’ lives, participating in PTA activities, supporting their sports endeavors, and proudly serving as a den mother for the Cub Scouts.

Betty was a true free spirit who was funny, quick-witted, and loved to laugh. She was never afraid to tell you exactly what was on her mind. She was rebellious in the best way, boldly leading her own path with strength, honesty, and heart.

Her kindness touched everyone she knew. Betty loved helping others, whether it was doing a friend’s hair and makeup, caring for someone in need, or sacrificing her own time to comfort and support those who needed her most. She took pride in being there for people and leaving a lasting impression through her compassion and generosity.

Above all else, Betty loved her grandchildren more than anything in this world. They were the light of her life and brought her endless pride and joy. She treasured every moment spent with them and loved each of them deeply.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Ruby and Earl Stafford; her sister, Annabelle; and her brothers, Tex, Rex, and Ted.

She is survived by her sons, Chad White and John White and wife Amanda; her cherished grandchildren, Ian, Riley, Abbey, Aubrey, Shalee, and Katie; her beloved great-granddaughter, Amelia; her sister, Lillie Craft; her brother, Roger Stafford; and many extended family members and dear friends who will forever treasure her memory.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, May 25, 2026, at Harkey Funeral Home in Monahans, Texas, with Billy Riley officiating.
