Blake Ashton Thompson born October 28, 1992 to Charles Thompson and Archelle "Linnie" Amos, he entered into rest on February 19, 2017.
Blake attended school in Monahans and San Angelo, Texas. He graduated from Center High in San Angelo, Texas May 2011. While attending high school, Blake was a very talented athlete, he played football, basketball, and ran track. Blake received many awards during his athletic career. He was employed by Trident.
Blake had a big heart and big smile. He would do anything for anyone, he had a slow, lazy walk but he was coming to help out where needed. If you ever had a one on one conversation with Blake, you know that he was well informed on lots of subjects. If you caught Blake just right, he would even cut a dance step for you. When Blake's mind was made up about something, he was very passionate about his decisions and he was going to do whatever whole-hearted. Blake enjoyed being free and opened spirited. He was dedicated to his family, friends, and his dogs Smoke and Athena.
Blake is survived by his mother, Archelle Amos of Monahans, Texas, his father Charles Thompson of Brownwood, Texas, sisters Lyric Willis of San Antonio, Texas, Jaquale Clark, Cabrisha Lyons, and Matyha Thompson, brother Lewis Wesley of Monahans, Texas, step-father Anthony Wesley of Monahans, Texas, grandmother, Zetta Anderson of Monahans, Texas, grandparents Reggie and Betty Durham of Brownwood, Texas, and a host of aunts, uncle, cousins and friends. Blake was very special and he will be forever missed.
