Bobbie had an exciting life. She loved baking and decorating cakes. She went to Odessa, Texas and got her degree in cake decorating in 1978. She was hired by Mr. Jim Jordan at Monahans High School to teach two classes weekly to the adult community for the schools of cake decorating. She also had her bakery in her home for a while. She loved baking different cakes, pies, and candy which she proudly took to her church each time church met. Her specialty to the church was banana pudding and tiger butter candy. Bobbie told her pastor, “The Bible says ‘Feed my sheep,’ so I’m trying to do that.”
She earned her flower arranging certificate in 1988. Bobble loved a pretty yard and kept it pretty the year round. Her backyard was a beautiful, peaceful, and serene oasis filled with beautiful flowers and shrubs…the perfect place to sit and entertain guests who were filled with awe of the beauty, peace, and talent it reflected.
Among Bobbie’s other talents was her love of painting. She proudly displayed in her home the many pictures she had painted. She also worked in her Church as a Sunday School teacher teaching small children. Bobbie firmly believed what the Bible says about doing unto others as you would want others to do unto you - treat everyone fairly and love each other with unconditional love as Jesus loved us.
