Carrolyn Thames

Carrolyn LaJuana Thames, 72, passed away on February 26, 2017 in Odessa, Texas. She was born on September 16, 1944 to Carrol Lee Jones and Thelma Lavern Love in Spur, Texas. LuJuana Thames married the love of her life Arthur Loyd Thames on June 8, 1963 in Denver City, Texas.

She was involved with Ward County 4-H, and Texas Extension Association, where she enjoyed volunteering her help and time, and was a very active member of the Immanuel Baptist Church as well. She had the best time baking "Grandma Cookies" for her grandson's football teams, and always supported her family especially her grandchildren.

LaJuana is survived by her loving husband, Arthur Lloyd Thames of Monahans, Texas, son, Steven Thames and wife Nikki of Homestead, Florida, daughters, Doretta Price of Wallis, Texas, Dorinda Hummel and husband Larry of Monahans, Texas, Carolynda Johnson of Monahans, Texas, brother, Garlon Jones of Perryton, Texas, sisters, Jayne Grametbaur of Odessa, Texas, Doronna Langston of Odessa, Texas, 16 grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.
