Christina Heredia

Christina Heredia, 80, of Monahans, passed away Sunday, October 4, 2015 at Medical Center Hospital. She was born September 10, 1935 in Presidio to Gustavo and Conrada (Gonzalez) Torres.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Lorenzo Heredia; and sons, Lorenzo Heredia, Jr. and Jose Alfredo Heredia, Sr.

Christina is survived by her son, Victor Tarin of Monahans; daughter, Gracie Orosco of Diming, NM; brother, Zeferino Torres of Monahans; sisters, Dora Venegas of El Paso and Manuela Carnero of Monahans; 4 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 6, 2015 from 11 AM - 8 PM and Wednesday, October 7, 2015 from 9 AM - 9 PM at Harkey Funeral Home. The Rosary will be recited Wednesday evening at 7 PM at the funeral home chapel. Funeral services will be Thursday, October 8, 2015 at 11 AM at St. John's Catholic Church with Fr. James Hall officiating. Interment will follow at Monahans Memorial Cemetery.
