Cindi was born to James Robert and Mildred Lois Harris, in Sanderson.

In 1970 she moved with her parents and siblings from Grandfalls to Wickett. In 1986 she met her husband James Derrick, and they spent the last 38 years together.

In those 38 years they lived in many places but recently moved back home to Wickett. Her sister, nieces, and nephews were incredibly important and very special to her and she was so happy to spend time with them in her last years.

She was greeted in heaven by her parents, her big brother, a great nephew, and many other beloved family and friends. Left in this world to cherish her memory are her husband, James Derrick. Her sister, the last of the three siblings, Cheryl Ball and husband Bernie. Nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, a great great niece, and her beloved cat Baby Girl.
