Dallas Lee Littlejohn, 76, of Monahans, Texas passed away peacefully at his home in Monahans, Texas on Monday, March 6, 2023.
A viewing will be held Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at Harkey Funeral Home from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, March 9, 2023, at Monahans Memorial Cemetery with Pastor Sean Prather officiating.
Dallas was born in Mineral Wells, Texas to D.N. and Lillie Littlejohn on December 16, 1946. Dallas attended school in Imperial, Texas. He married the love of his life, Valda Rowe Littlejohn on July 4, 1968, in Monahans, Texas. Dallas was a truck driver for most of his life, hauling oil and water for the oilfield, he retired from Rapid Transportation in Kermit, Texas. He was a very hard-working man, even when he had worked all day transporting, he would still come home and do yard work, gardening, and all the honey-do’s; he enjoyed being outdoors.
Dallas is preceded in death by his loving wife, Valda Littlejohn; his parents, D.N. and Lillie Littlejohn; his brothers, Tex Littlejohn, Virgil Littlejohn, Travis Littlejohn, Mix Littlejohn, Lee Littlejohn, Euwing Littlejohn; his sisters, Effie, Louise, Leatha Littlejohn, and Glenda Schell.
Dallas is survived by his son, Kenneth Littlejohn; his daughters, Jamie Rowe, and Melissa Anderson; his siblings, Doyle Littlejohn, Tim Littlejohn, Clovis Littlejohn, Evelyn Murphry, Ronnie Littlejohn, Karen Littlejohn, and Mary Baxter; his six grandchildren, James Rowe, Dustin Rowe, Kyla Rowe, Mikalah Lujan, Kyndrik Anderson, and Kristin Littlejohn; 7 great grandchildren (and one more on the way).
