Dan Oxedine

Dan Kelly Oxedine, 88 of Monahans, passed away on December 31, 2018 at his home.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Harkey Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Monahans Memorial Cemetery. John Gambino will officiate.

Dan was born in Ferriday, LA on August 3, 1930 to Everett (Ebb) and Lillie Mae Oxedine. He married Treva Nunley in November 1957. Dan worked for Southwestern Bell for 36 years. He served in the US Army and did a tour in Germany during its occupation.

Dan taught Sunday School at the First Baptist Church for 20 years and he was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America.

Dan is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Treva and a sister, Betty.

Survivors include his children; Edward Oxedine, Wayne Oxedine and
Cindy Moore( Marvin), sisters; Bobbie Paul and Polly Olwell, brothers; David Oxedine and Clifford Oxedine, grandchildren; Susan Criswell, Nicholas Oxedine, Chase Pendergrass, Davis Moore, Luke Moore and Kaysie Oxedine and 9 great-grandchildren.
