Edwardo Sanchez

Edwardo "Lalo" Sanchez, 70, of Monahans, passed away Monday, December 14, 2015 at Medical Center Hospital. He was born May 30, 1945 in Monahans to Manuel and Paula (Olivares) Sanchez.

He was a mechanic and owner of Sanchez Auto Repair.

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Connie Sanchez Arredondo; parents, Manuel and Paula Sanchez; brothers, Jimmy Sanchez and Henry Sanchez; and sisters, Mary Garcia and Rosa Sanchez Rubio.

Edwardo is survived by his wife, Gloria Sanchez of Monahans; sons, Edward Sanchez, Jr. and wife Tammy of Monahans, and Salvador Sanchez and wife Tanya of Midland; daughters, Rachel Garcia and husband Ruben of Monahans and Amanda Rivas and husband Johnny of Monahans; son in law, David Arredondo of Benbrook; brothers, Manuel Sanchez and Tino Sanchez, both of Midland, Gilbert Sanchez of Crane, and Sam Sanchez of Midland; sisters, Josephine Molina of Monahans, and Olivia Romero of Mesquite; 12 grandchildren, Bianca Bryan, Seline, Isaac, Ruben, Juan, Issabel, Evan Derek, Brandon, Bethanie, and Brooklynn; and 1 great grandchild, Jalen.

Visitation will be Wednesday, December 16, 2016 from 11 AM - 9 PM at Harkey Funeral Home. The Rosary will be recited Wednesday evening at 7 PM. Funeral services will be Thursday, December 17, 2015 at 11 AM at St. John's Catholic Church with Fr. John Lucido officiating. Burial will follow at Monahans Memorial Cemetery.
