Elizabeth Jimenez (Leal Barrera), 64, of Monahans, passed away on 12/20/2025 in Midland, Texas.

Visitation will be 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Monday, December 29th, 2025, at Harkey Funeral home with a Celebration of Life from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM. 

Funeral Service will be held 1:00 PM, Tuesday, December 30, 2025, Cornerstone Church, 2410 S. Stockton, Monahans, Tx with Pastor Heriberto Lopez officiating. Burial will follow at Monahans Memorial Cemetery.

Elizabeth was born in Durango, Durango, Mexico to Ramon Fidel Leal Perez and Guadalupe Barrera Perez on September 1st, 1961.

She went to school at Durango, Durango. She married Jose Jimenez on July 17, 1977, in Juarez.

Elizabeth found deep joy in serving others, especially through her work at her church. Her faith was not just something she believed in, but something she lived out daily. Whether lending a helping hand, offering a listening ear, or just stepping in whenever help was needed. She had a heart for service and a genuine love for people, and she gave her free time to make others feel cared for or supported.

Elizabeth is preceded in death by her son, Pablo Jimenez; husband, Jose Jimenez Tepezano; father, Ramon Fidel Leal Perez; mother, Guadalupe Barrera Perez; her sister, Ruth Leal; grandmother, Juliana Perez; Grandfather, Gregorio Barrera; great grandmother, Hermelinda Perez Reyes; great grandfather, Ramon Leal Lopez; uncle, Samuel; Uncle, Carlos; and many other loved ones.

Elizabeth is survived by son, Alex Jimenez; daughter, Mayra Jimenez Huffty; siblings, Fidel Leal, Susana Leal Valenzuela, Gregorio Leal, Ramon Leal, Mauricio Leal , Eliceo Leal, Linda Leal Aguirre; grandchildren, Easaih Olivas, Jasmyn Nevaeh Huffty, Isaac Daniel Jimenez, and Moriah Elizabeth Huffty; nieces and nephews, Fidel, Damian, Daniel, Sebastian, DJ, Enoch, Lucia, Dora, Julie, Samaria, Victoria, Miriam, Ricardo, and so many more.

Pallbearers are as follows: Alejandro Jimenez, Easaih Olivas, Josh McMahan, Enoc Aguirre, Eliceo Leal, Gregorio Leal, Israel Aguirre, Aaron Huffty.
