Felix Vasquez

Felix O. Vasquez, 83, of Monahans, passed away Monday, April 27, 2015 at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa. She was born May 2, 1931 in Saragosa, TX to Catarino and Catarina (Jasso) Ortega.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Andres Ortega, Aparizo Ortega, Pilar Medrano, and Simon Medrano; and sister, Gregoria Hinojos.

Felix is survived by her sons, Manuel Ortega and Tony Martinez of Monahans, Frank Ontiveros of Houston, and Mark Ontiveros of Monahans; daughters, Ramona Martinez of Odessa, Maria Carrasco of Monahans, and Linda Wafer and Endora Santiago of Odessa; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Wednesday, April 29, 2015 from 10 AM - 9 PM at Harkey Funeral Home with the Rosary being recited at 7 PM. Funeral services will be Thursday, April 30, 2015 at 11 AM at St. John Catholic Church with Fr. John Lucido officiating. Burial will follow at Monahans Memorial Cemetery. Jose Santiago, Daniel Santiago, Isaiah Anderson, Ricky Anderson, Jesus Gonzales, Miguel Gonzales, Bobby Vasquez and Tony Vasquez will serve as pallbearers.
