Frank Armenta, Jr.

Frank Sercas Armenta, Jr. was born in the Sand Hills of Monahans, Texas, October 28,1938 to Francisco and Reyes (Sercas) Armenta. He passed away September 11, 2018.
He is survived by his wife, Lynda (McDaniel) Armenta of the home in Monahans and daughters Rebecca (Albert) Wilson of Monahans, Kelly Aguilar of Monahans, and Tara (Tim) Johnson of Odessa, TX and son, Shan
(Chrissy) Torkelson of Hiawatha, KS; sisters Cookie (Chester) Holmes of Leavenworth, KS, Tim (Armenta) Stuart of Haskell, TX, Ada (Armenta) Foy of Wichita, KS, Pat (James) (Armenta) Fazenbaker of Odessa, his brother Alfonso Armenta of Haskell, TX, numerous nieces and nephews, nine grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, Abel Valenzuela Armenta, his parents, Francisco and Reyes (Sercas) Armenta; his brothers Fernando Armenta, Pete Armenta, Joe Armenta; and sisters Juanita (Armenta) Garcia, Feliciana (Armenta) Sanchez and Mary (Armenta) Ward.
He served in the United States Army. He was a proud Jehovah's Witness and a member of the Monahans chapter. He enjoyed barbequing and spending time with his family, especially his grandkids. He loved to garden and be outside doing anything that sparked his interest. He loved to spend time with animals of any kind, feed the birds every day and walk with his dog "Wishbone" around the yard. He was a very kind, caring man and was willing to help anyone with anything at any time.
You could always count on him to give you advice and help in any way that he could. He was a loving husband, Father,-Grandfather, Great Grandfather, Brother, Uncle, Cousin and Friend, and also loved by many.
He never met a stranger, but most of all he was one of a kind and will be missed dearly.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 22, 2018 at the Kingdom Hall Of Jehovah's Witness in Monahans, Texas.
