Frederico Rodriguez

Frederico D. Rodriguez 83 of Monahans, TX, passed away on Saturday November 25, 2017 in Monahans, Texas. He was born in Fort Davis, Texas to George and Juliana Rodriguez on March 24, 1934. Frederico married the love of his life Leonor Rodriguez and they were married for 66 years. He worked for Brantley Trucking, Inc. for 40 years and he received a ring for his services. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was a good citizen of Monahans. He always had a smile on his face. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him. He is preceded in death by his parents, Juliana and George Rodriguez, numerous brothers and sisters, one grandson, Steven Garcia, and one son-in-law, Merardo Garcia, Jr. Frederico is survived by his wife Leonor Rodriguez, two daughters, Nancy and husband Jesse Ramirez, Jr. her daughter, Melissa Ann Ramirez, Carol Jean Garcia, her daughter, Jennifer Cooper, her son, Bryan Garcia; one great-granddaughter, Nichole Solis. Pallbearers will be Jesse Ramirez Jr, Angel Muniz, Joshua Ramirez, Eddie Silvas, Kent McDaniel, and Johnny Rodriguez. Visitation will be held Monday, November 27, 2017 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm at Harkey Funeral Home, Rosary will also be held on Monday, November 27, 2017 at 7:00 pm at St. John Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at 10:00 am at St. John Catholic Church with Father Allan Alaka officiating. Burial will follow at Monahans Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Harkey Funeral Home. The family of Frederico D. Rodriguez wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Dr. Davison, Home Health, Home Hospice, St. John's Catholic Church, Bereavement ministers at St. John's Catholic Church, Ladies organization who provide meals, Father Rich Ruiz of Fort Davis for providing music for the mass, and Harkey Funeral Home.
