James Dean Davison (affectionately known by all as Dino), 79, of Grandfalls went to be with our Lord on March 22,2018 in Odessa.
Memorial services will be held at 4 pm on Friday, March 30th at Harkey Funeral Home in Monahans with Pastor Tony McCrohan of Midessa Heights Baptist Church officiating.
Dino was born in Graham, Texas to Damon D. Davison and LaMoyne Lucille Stainbrook Davison on April 23, 1938. Dino was a cook for many years in Imperial and was well known for his "special recipes" that only HE could dream up. He was a veteran serving in the Army as a Flash Ranging Crewman and was awarded the Marksmanship (Rifle M-14) medal.
Dino was preceded in death by his parents, Damon and LaMoyne Davison; his sister, Ruthy Tucker; his brothers, Billy John Davison and Robert George Davison and one nephew, Robert Wayne Davison.
Dino is survived by one brother, Damon (Buz) Davison and wife Brenda; sister-in-law, Eva Lee Davison; nephews: Daniel Tucker and wife Wendy, Billy (Bubber) Davison and wife Lisa, Bobby Davison, Frank Lynn Tucker and wife Dawn; and nieces June Davison and husband Bobby, Debbie Sickler and husband Robert, LaMoyne Priddy and husband Danny, Bennie Davison, Cherie Gillham and husband Gary, Carol Richardson and Cindy McCrohan and husband Pastor Tony; with numerous great and great, great nephews and nieces and too many friends to name.
Dino was known for many wonderful things but especially for his giving spirit and that SMILE that lit up our world.
Because of the amazing care our Dino received at Madison Medical Resort in Odessa, we request that any memorials given in Dino's honor be sent to them at 5001 Office Park in Odessa, Texas 79762.
