James Dobkins

James "Jim" Edward Dobkins, 76, of Lubbock, formerly of Monahans, passed away March 4, 2017 in
Lubbock, Texas. He was born on March 9, 1940 to Charlie "Shorty" Martin Dobkins, Sr. and Nonis
Lilleene Reed in Kermit, Texas.
Jim was employed by PanAm Airlines Cargo Warehouse for 24 years before enjoying retirement. He
enjoyed watching politics and playing Skip-Bo and Bingo with his friends.
He is survived by one brother; Charles "Sonny" Dobkins and wife Eyvon of Coleman, Texas; one niece;
Charlene (Billy) Dobkins-Pennington of Brownwood, Texas.
