James Oliver

James "Jim" Oliver, 66, passed away in Monahans, Texas, on April 16, 2017. Born on January 9, 1951, in Glendive, Montana, to Ray Oliver and Elaine (Torgerson) Oliver. James married the love of his life Nellie Mary-Terese (Lopez) Oliver on June 21, 1980, in Baker, Montana.

Jim was Lutheran by faith. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, photography, camping, and generally just being outdoors. Jim loved spending time in Alaska. He especially loved his time with his family, friends, and his granddaughter, Noel.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Beloved husband of Nellie Oliver. Cherished father of Christopher, Joshua, and Zachary Oliver. Proud grandfather of Noel Joy Oliver. Loving brother of Terry and David. Adored by many nieces and nephews. He will be truly missed by everyone who knew him.
