James (Jim Bob) Williams, 78, beloved Husband, Father and grandfather was called to his eternal resting place on January 23, 2019. He entered this world on April 7, 1940 in Bryson, TX, born to John and Thelma Williams. He is preceded in death by his daughter Belinda Williams, his father John Williams, his mother Thelma Williams and his brother Johnny Williams. He is survived by his wife Rosie Williams of Monahans; one son Jimmy Williams and his wife Kristi Williams of Lubbock, one daughter Wendy Ates and her husband Scotty, of Monahans two grandsons Troy Williams of Monahans and Fernando Williams of Lubbock, three granddaughters Victoria Williams of Monahans, Mia Williams of Lubbock and Milan Williams of Lubbock. Jim Bob served in the Marines from 1960 - 1966, was a Monahans Police Officer from 1968 - 1971 and retired from Halliburton after 23 years. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday, January 25, 2018 at Harkey Funeral Home. Church services will be held on Saturday, January 26th at 3:00 p.m. at the Grandfalls Union Church to be directly followed by a graveside service. Pallbearers are Edward Acosta, Dale Brandenburg, George Brandenburg, Karl Brandenburg, Fred Holguin, and Roberto Vasquez.
