Janice Babcock

Janice Marie Babcock, 64, passed away on September 10, 2017 in Midland, Texas. She was born on October 5, 1952. Her parents are Ernest White and Minnie Etta Jones White of Monahans, Texas. She was their only child. She had a happy childhood, went to school, and married the love of her life, father of her children, Terry Kent Babcock all in her hometown of Monahans.

She was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Monahans, Texas. Janice was a kind-hearted person, willing and able to help whenever she was needed. She was a dedicated mother and grandmother, taking care of her family was her life. Janice always loved to go fishing. Just tell her when and she would grab her pole.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Ernest and Minnie White; husband, Terry Babcock; daughter, Etta Marie Babcock, and daughter in law; Anishia Babcock.

Janice is survived by her sons; Terry Babcock and wife Catlyn of Midland, Texas, Ernest Kyle Babcock of Monahans, Texas, daughter; Dobie Babcock of North Carolina. Ten grandchildren; Ruben Babcock, Crystal Babcock, Emerald Babcock, Michelle Babcock, Timothy Babcock, Jaythen Babcock, Clara Babcock, Christopher Calloway, Patrick Calloway, and Rusty Babcock. Two great grandchildren; Zaraphina Babcock and Matthew Babcock.

Later in life Janice found that she had another family she never knew. Due to the efforts of a niece Jenny Davidson, Janice found that her natural born parents were named Jewel Everette and Georgie Marie English Watson, now deceased. She found that she had siblings, her brother; T. J. Washburn of Kilgore, TX, sisters; Patsy Clausen of Longview, TX, Kathryn Shidler of Lawton, OK, Susie Willison of Longview, TX. Her Aunt, Jerry Duncan of Kilgore, TX, nieces; Jenny Davidson of Longview, TX, and Kyletta Ray of Mountain Home, OK, and cousin, Robert English of Longview, TX. She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews and cousins.
