Jesus Ruiz

Jesus Ruiz, 75, of Monahans, TX passed away on February 13, 2018 in Odessa, Texas. He was born on December 23, 1942 to Jesus Manuel Ruiz and Demecia Porras in El Mulato, Chihuahua.

Jesus married the love of his life Francisca Rodriguez Ruiz on January 22, 1961 in in El Mulato, Chihuahua.

He resided in Monahans since April 1, 1968, where his family grew into a multitude of many more.

Jesus is preceded in death by his parents, Antonio Ramirez and Demecia Porras Ramirez; his son, Humberto Ruiz; and his brothers, Eliazar Ramirez and Jose Ramirez.

He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Francisca Ruiz; three daughters, Dora Ruiz, Margarita Gonzalez, and Marisol Aranda and husband Adrian; three sons, Jesus Ruiz Jr. and wife Angelica, Luis Ruiz and wife Betty, and Edward Ruiz and wife Mirna; and his beloved 20 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Although his presence will be sorely missed by all of his family and friends. There is comfort in knowing that someone so special is resting and will never be forgotten.

Viewing will be held 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Harkey Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, February 16, 2018 at Harkey Funeral Home-Chapel with Orlando Marrufo officiating. Burial will follow at Monahans Memorial Cemetery.
