Kathleen Redmon

Kathleen Redmon, 72, of Monahans passed away peacefully on December 11, 2025, surrounded by family and friends in Monahans Texas.

Kathleen was born in Monahans to Norman and Dorothy Thompson on June 11, 1953. She went to school at Monahans High School. She attended business school as well. She was married to James Redmon. She worked as a waitress at Biscuits and Gravy for many years and was a homemaker. She loved animals, especially her dogs. She loved collecting antiques. She had the gift of gab, loved good movies and good books. She was beloved by many. She was a sweet mom and grandma and will be greatly missed.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Dorothy Thompson; her siblings, Waylan Thompson, Henry Mac Thompson, Norma Thompson and Christy May.

She is survived by her husband, James Redmon; her children, Trey and Tricy McCormick, and Shaugna and Steve Ortiz; her brothers, Leslie Thompson and Patrick Thompson; her grandchildren, Brent McCormick, Madison McCormick, Orlando Ortiz and Tula Ortiz; her nieces and nephews, Lana Brooks, Charlotte May, Salina Carter, Amy Vela, Russell Eubank, Kent Eubank, Eric Thompson, Matt Thompson, Holly Thompson, and Tasia Simpson. She had many precious great nephews and nieces.
