Kay Mathews, 78, passed away on February 23, 2021 in Monahans, Texas.
Kay was born to Opal and Stanley Baker in Kermit, Texas. She was married to her loving husband of 43 years, Jim Mathews. The couple were married in Kermit, Texas in 1977.
She is preceded in death by her parents Opal and Stanley Baker, brothers Lanny Baker and Butch Bayless, and sons Roy Taylor and Buddy Mathews.
Kay is survived by her husband Jim Mathews of Monahans, TX, sons Joe Taylor of Clyde, TX, Doug Mathews and spouse Kristi of Eunice, NM, daughter Sherry Bice and spouse Koan of Azle, TX, grandchildren Brandi, Brandon, Amanda, Shane, Shanna, Dylan, Bethany, Dusty and Lindsay, and numerous great grandchildren.
