Leroy Redmon

Leroy Redmon, age 71, of Odessa passed away on June 25th, 2018 at his residence in Odessa. Leroy was born August 1st, 1946 to his mother and father, Bruce, and Josie Redmon, in Cyril, Oklahoma. Leroy joined the US Army at the age of 17 and served as a communications specialist in South Korea. Leroy went on to work in the oilfields of west Texas for many years, before settling in Odessa where he semi� retired in the real estate business. Leroy is proceeded in death by his loving wife, Brenda Sue Collins-Redmon, his parents, Bruce and Josie Redmon, brother, Jimmy Redmon and sisters, Mildred Steen, and Marie Wells. He is survived by, son, Freddy Redmon of Odessa, Tx, grandson Michael Redmon of Kermit, Tx, daughters Kimberly Reed and husband Robby Reed of Odessa, Tx, Shelly Beasley and husband Terry and great grandson Beck Savage of Canyon Lake, daughter, Stacy Edwards of Dallas, brothers, Billy Redmon of Monahans, Raymond Redmon and wife Jerry of Katy, Tx, Richard Coss of Atlanta, Ga and sisters Sue Lytle of Midland, Tx, Elizabeth Carrell of Monahans, Tx and Annie Everts and husband Ellis of Pattison, Tx and many nephews, nieces and cousins.

Viewing will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 27, 2018, and from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., Thursday, June 28, 2018 at Harkey Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 28, 2018 at Bethel Baptist Church in Monahans, Texas with Pastor Gordon Cox officiating, burial will follow at Monahans Memorial Cemetery.
