Lonny Wayne Bingham

Lonny Wayne Bingham (65) passed away Saturday, January 20, 2024 peacefully at his home surrounded by his family and friends in Monahans, TX. 

Lonny was born in Hobbs, NM May 21st, 1958 to Morris E.Bingham and Betty Jean Miles.  

Lonny attended Monahans High School and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Monahans.  

In his younger years, he raised and showed pigs at the Monahans Stock shows. Lonny was a mechanic for most of his life, working for Trio Motors, Lobo Ford and Kermit Motor Company. He enjoyed participating in car shows and won numerous trophies with his 71 El Camino. Lonny was also entertained by racing and watching Nascar. He was a big fan of Dale Earnhart and has a large collection of Nascar memorabilia. 

Lonny is survived by his wife Pam Crawford Bingham, married 46 years (June 10, 1977). They had one daughter, April Dawn Babcock (Steven) of Fort Worth, TX. Father Morris Bingham (Patricia) of Midland, TX, brother Donald Bingham (Cheryl) of Odessa, Sister Pamela Murphee (Jeff) of Decatur, TX, sister Vera Yielding (George) of Midland, TX. Several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. 

Lonny is preceded in death by his mother Betty Miles, and brother Steven Bingham.

Memorial Service will be held January 26th at Bethel Baptist Church (211 S. Doris) in Monahans, TX at 2:00 pm.
