Luciano Rodriguez

Luciano Rodriguez, 75, of Grandfalls, passed away Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at Monahans Managed Care Center. He was born January 7, 1940 in Presidio to Julian and Hipolita (Chavarria) Rodriguez.

He worked for Phipps Sand & Gravel for 36 years.

He is preceded in death by his son, Luciano Rodriguez I; parents, Julian & Hipolita Rodriguez; and sister, Dolores Garcia.

Luciano is survived by his wife, Linda S. Rodriguez of Grandfalls; son, Luciano Rodriguez II and wife Naomi of Odessa; daughters, Elene Perales and husband Pilo of Coyanosa, Emira Bowden, Elodia Sims of Wickett, Elvia Brandenburg of San Angelo, Eliza Combs and husband Travis of Wickett, and Elia Rodriguez of Alice; brothers, Victor Rodriguez and wife Linda of Ira, Margarito Rodriguez and wife Lupe of Odessa, Phillip Rodriguez and wife Lucy of San Angelo; sisters, Quintina Calanchi and husband Alfredo of Monahans and Josie Sanchez and husband Raymond Pena of El Dorado; 21 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 29, 2015 from 12 - 9 PM at Harkey Funeral Home with the Rosary being recited at 7 PM. Funeral services will be Friday, January 30, 2015 at 1 PM at Harkey Funeral Home with Fr. James Hall officiating. Burial will follow at Tamarisk Cemetery in Grandfalls.
