Lugene Leek, 67, of Monahans, passed away on July 24, 2022, in Midland, TX.

Visitation will be Friday, July 29, 2022, at Harkey Funeral Home from 5pm to 7pm.  Funeral services will be Saturday, July 30, 2022, at the Harkey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dr. Jimmy Braswell officiation.  Burial will follow at the Monahans Memorial Cemetery.

Luegene was born to John and Patsy Ford on May 16, 1955, in Monahans, TX.  She married Harold Leek of Monahans.  She worked as a Correctional Officer for Ector County.

Lugene is preceded in death by her parents, John and Patsy Ford and brothers, Gary and Bobby Ford.

Lugene is survived by her husband, Harold, son Don Hoover and wife Christi, and their children: Cayden, Reagan and Alice.  Daughters: Brandy O’Keeffe and her son Peter and daughter Sandy Hoover and life partner Ray Cummin and her daughter: Kamary Self and her husband Stephan and their daughter, Addilyn.  An aunt: Nora Ford, cousins: R. D. Ford and his son, Tyler Ford, Albert Ford and Patty Hultz.
