Maria Holguin

Maria R Holguin, 74, of Monahans, passed away in Odessa, Texas on Wednesday, June 28, 2017. She was born on September 12, 1942 to Julian Morales and wife Carmen in Shafter, Texas. Maria married the love of her life Silvino Holguin on May 17, 1966 in De Rio, Texas.

She loved being a homemaker and spending time with her family and friends. Maria was an amazing and loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend. She and Silvino came to Monahans on July 4, 1980 from Ontario, California. Maria was a Christian by faith.

Maria is survived by her loving husband; Silvino Holguin of Monahans, Texas, daughters; Sandra Carrasco and husband Luis of Monahans, Texas, Mary Carrillo of Fontana, California, Gloria Holguin of Monahans, Texas, Nelda Holguin of Monahans, Texas, Patty Holguin of Monahans, Texas, Linda Holguin of Odessa, Texas, brothers; Manuel Morales and wife Luisa of Del Rio, Texas, Willie Morales and wife Rosie of Colton, California, Julian Morales and wife Maria of Fontana, California, Daniel Morales of Del Rio, Texas, sisters; Olivia San Miguel and husband Felix of Del Rio, Texas, Herlinda San Miguel of Fort Worth, Texas, 13 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, one brother, one sister, and one great grandchild.
