Mary E. Primera

Mary Ellen Primera, 58, of Monahans, Texas passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, July 16, 2023, in Monahans.

A Memorial Service will be held in Honor of Mary’s life at Harkey Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, July 22, 2023, at 10:00 AM, with Larry Jasso officiating.

Mary was born July 19, 1964, in Monahans, Texas to Jessie Primera and Rosa Martinez Esparza.  She was a kind, humble mother, grandmother, a member of the baby ARMY (BTS music group fan), and a phlebotomist for 25 years who loved her patients and coworkers.

~ ”May your spirit live on forever in our hearts and souls.  Rest in peace, beloved friend. You are gone but not forgotten.  You will always be a part of us.” -Your CPL Family

~ “Our team at bath and body works in Midland had the privilege of having Mary Primera with us at our store.  Very devoted & precious to those around her as she always had a caring heart for others.  Many from our staff loved her dearly as she was employed with our brand for quite some time that our team grew to know Mary not only as a hard worker but also as a dear friend.”

~ “Ms. Mary on behalf of us all, thank you for all that you provided. When we got the call, it was heartbreaking to hear that we were losing an amazing soul with a pure heart.  You have left behind some of many fond memories for us to look back and carry on with here at bath and body works.  Love you Mary, and rest east.”

Determined, loving, and caring, she touched many lives throughout her career.  Strong-willed, a cancer survivor for over 15 years, she loved to laugh and smile.  Mary wasn’t far from her favorite snacks, a cold bottle of crystal light, a bag of Quest chips, and for dessert, rainbow popcorn.  She enjoyed park days with her grandkids and hanging out watching movies in a cool dark theatre on the rare day she had off.  If she could, she would have worked 8 days in a 7-day week.  Never braggadocios or materialistic, she only ever wanted a smile, love, and a hug.

Mary is survived by her daughter, Jessica Monique Ordonez(34), her sons, Preston Ross Ordonez(30), and Andreu Ray Ordonez(38); her grandchildren, Adrian Luis Ordonez(15), Alyssa Bree Ordonez(7), Brayden Ordonez(13), Alexandra Leela Ordonez(6), and adopted grandson, Cesar Guerrero(13).
