Orlando Hernandez, age 70, of Monahans, Texas, born on July 22nd 1955, passed away on January 20, 2026.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Julian and Rosa Hernandez, and his son, Omero Hernandez.
Orlando is survived by his devoted wife, Connie Hernandez; his daughters, Rebecca Porras and her husband, Albaro, and Victoria Hernandez and her partner, Joanna; and his grandchildren, Dylon, Destiny, Donavan, Albaro Jr., Alex, and Aubrey. He is also survived by his brothers, Roy Hernandez and wife, Loretta, and Omero Hernandez, as well as one niece and three nephews.
Orlando was employed by Chief Transports and Monahans-Wickett-Pyote Independent School District where he was known for his kindness, playfulness and work ethic.
He enjoyed barbecuing, watching professional wrestling, and was a devoted fan of the Dallas Cowboys. Above all, Orlando was a family-oriented man who deeply valued time spent with his loved ones.
No services will be held. The family will honor his life privately.
Orlando Hernandez will be remembered with love and respect, and his memory will remain in the hearts of all who knew him.
