Patricia Beackham

Patricia Beckham, 66, of Monahans, passed away Saturday, February 28, 2015 at Ward Memorial Hospital in Monahans. She was born December 25, 1948 in Alice, TX to Harold and Mary Emily (Howard) Beckham.

She made Monahans her home and was the proud owner of Super Burger for 35 years. First and foremost, she was a Christian. She was a faithful member of the Church of Christ and loved to serve the church. An avid sports fan and Lobo supporter, she never missed a Lobo football game. She loved football, racing, the Dallas Mavericks and the Dallas Cowboys. Patricia enjoyed watching Survivor and the Amazing Race and she loved to travel. A favorite pastime was walking, swimming and listening to music.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Mary Beckham; and nephew, Timothy Beckham.

Patricia is survived by her brothers, Thomas Beckham and wife Colleen of Monahans, Larry Beckham and wife Janet of Kermit and Ricky Beckham of Monahans; sisters, Carol Campbell of Monahans and Lou Perry of Odessa; she was a beloved aunt, survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews; and many cousins and countless friends she carried in her heart as family.

Visitation will be held Monday, March 2, 2015 from 6 - 8 PM at Harkey Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at 2:30 PM at 3rd & Dwight Church of Christ with Billy Reed officiating. Interment will follow at Monahans Memorial Cemetery. Mike Campbell, Jeff Perry, Billy Beckham, Brian Beckham, Micah Campbell, and Mark Brooks will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Valenzuela and Zeth Davis.
