Robert Hernandez

Roberto U. Hernandez, 82, of Monahans, passed away Saturday, April 4, 2014 in Monahans. He was born January 4, 1933 in Alpine.

He retired from Haliburton and Ward County Pct. 4.

He is preceded in death by his daughters, Nora Moya and Janie Vires; parents; 1 brother; and 6 sisters.

Roberto is survived by his wife, Audelia Hernandez of Monahans; daughter, Norma Moya and husband Moe of Monahans; 2 son-in-laws, Greg Moya and Bo Vires; 2 sisters; 11 grandchildren, Chris Moya, Aaron Mallow, Dionne Borrego & husband Chris, Kendra Losoya & husband Johnny, Karen Lilley & husband Ron, Felicha Camp & husband Gordon, Jeremy Vires, Ricky Joe Delao & wife Jessica, Cory Vires & wife Lauren, Trey Moya & fiancée Marissa, and Marleyna Vidana; 19 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.

Visitation will be Friday, April 10, 2015 from 9 AM - 6 PM at Harkey Funeral Home. The Rosary will be recited Friday evening at 7 PM at St. John Catholic Church. Funeral services will be Saturday, April 11, 2015 at 11:30 AM at St. John Catholic Church with Fr. James Hall officiating. Burial will follow at Monahans Memorial Cemetery. Chris Moya, Aaron Mallow, Jeremy Vires, Ricky Joe Delao, Cory Vires, Trey Moya, Ron Lilley, Johnny Losoya, Chris Borrego, and Gordon Camp will serve as pallbearers.
