Robert Pando

Robert (Bobby) Pando, 47, of Wink, TX passed away on Friday, August 21, 2015 at University Medical Center of El Paso. Born in Kermit, TX to Alberto and Antonia (Pineda) Pando, he lived his whole life in the West Texas area.

Bobby was an extremely joyful man that loved to laugh. He was quick to smile and always ready with a joke. Bobby was a very devote Christian and carried his bible everywhere he went. He enjoyed staying at the lake, outdoor sports, golfing and watching the Dallas Cowboys. Bobby was very generous man and was always there to help friends and family in any way that he could.

He is preceded in death by his sons, Marvin and Jeffery Pando; father, Alberto Pando; and grandparents, Alfredo Sr. and Atilana Pando, and Demetrio Sr. and Vicenta Pineda.

Bobby was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather and friend to all. He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Teresa (Stidham) Pando; daughters, Amanda (Randal) Brown, and Empress Pando; sons, Greggory (Mahalie) Pando, and Robert Seth Pando; mother, Antonia Pando; mother-in-law, Carolyn K. (Campbell) Haynes; sister, Leticia (Orlando) Almanza; brothers, Antonio (Terri) Pando and Able (Rosa) Pando; 12 loving grandchildren; and many loving nieces and nephews, numerous extended family and countless friends.

There will be no public viewing or visitation. Funeral services will be Thursday, August 27, 2015 at 4 PM at Wink High School Auditorium with Tony McCrohan, Jr. officiating, followed by interment at Kermit Cemetery. Darrell Pando, Jose Rodriguez, Greg Rogers, Dennis Andrews, Jason Hotze, and Jimmy Garcia will serve as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial donations be made in Bobby's honor to Cooks Children's Hospital.
