Rosa Hernandez

Rosa Dominguez Hernandez, 87, of Monahans, TX. departed peacefully to her heavenly home on April 15, 2017. She was born on May 23, 1929 in Marfa, TX., to Victor Dominguez and Luz Alvarado. She met her loving husband of 64 years in Barstow, TX. and they were married on November of 1952. They lived in several rural areas in the farming communities. They made their home in Monahans, TX. She was a Homemaker and was very active in the PTA and Girl Scouts with one of her granddaughters. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister and loved the concept of family. She was a selfless and giving woman who always put others before herself. She had a lot of faith in GOD till the end. She will truly be missed as her grandchildren and great grandchildren say, "she's the best Nana ever". She leaves this world with an abundance of LOVE.

She is survived by her husband Julian Hernandez. Three sons and their spouses, Orlando and Connie Hernandez, Omedo and Rufina Hernandez and Roy and Loretta Hernandez all of Monahans, where she will be laid to rest. She has 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren and a great granddaughter on the way. Her sister Gregoria Flores of Big Spring, TX.

She is proceeded in death by her parents, Victor and Luz Dominguez, Her infant daughter Lucia Hernandez. Her brothers, Victor Dominguez, Rodolfo Dominguez, Felipe Dominguez and Fidel Dominguez. Her sisters, Carmen Alvarado, Gregoria Dominguez, Trinidad Garcia, Alcardia Flores and Lucia Flores.
