Roy Belz

Roy Marvin Belz, 87, passed away November 15, 2016 at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa, Texas.

Roy lived in Monahans, Texas with his wife, Iva Nell, they got married in Lampasas, Texas on November 30, 1954. He enlisted in the United States Army on February 13, 1952 in Georgetown, Texas and served two years in the service. He was honorably discharged in February 6, 1954 in Georgetown, Texas. He enjoyed his life with his family. Roy enjoyed hunting, fishing, and making repairs around the house. He worked for Halliburton Service for 29 years as a Bulk Station Foreman in the Monahans and Kermit areas.

Roy is survived by his wife Nell Belz of Monahans, Texas, son Brad and wife Tammy Belz of Mineral Wells, Texas, two grandchildren, Stacey and Ronnie Marquez of Seminole, Texas, Brian Belz of San Antonio, Texas, and one great grandchild Isaiah Marquez.

He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Andy Belz, and one son, David Allen Belz.

Per Roy's request cremation was chosen, and a private family service will be held at a later date.
