Ryan Yantis, 33, of Odessa, Texas, passed away on January 8, 2026, in his hometown. Born on September 4, 1992, in Odessa, Ryan spent his life surrounded by the people and places he loved most.

Ryan’s heart beat strongest for his children, Abyel and Alice Yantis. His love for them was unwavering—a guiding light that illuminated his days and gave meaning to every moment. His love for them was evident in every moment he spent by their side—whether playing games, sharing laughter, or simply being present with them. In their laughter and dreams, his memory endures. He also shared a close bond with his sister, Makayla Yantis, and his mother, Barbara Yantis. Their connection was a source of strength and joy throughout his life. He found happiness in the simple pleasures that brought him closer to those he cared about.

Whether strumming his guitar or sketching with quiet focus, Ryan expressed himself through creativity. Above all else, Ryan cherished time spent in good company. His warmth and humor made him a beloved presence among friends and family alike. Those who knew Ryan remember him as the funniest, happiest, and most understanding person they had ever met. He listened with his whole heart and loved with his whole soul. His kindness left an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

Ryan was preceded in death by his grandmother, Jane Harris. Though his journey was brief, Ryan’s presence left a lasting imprint on those who knew him. Love does not end with time. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him. Ryan will be loved and missed.
