Sandra Smith

Sandra L. Smith, 72 of Monahans, died at her home on Thursday, March 9, 2017. No services are planned at this time.
Sandra was born February 20, 1945 in Torrance, CA to Betty and Glenn Sims. She was raised in the western part of the United States. After graduation from high school she married Homer Salome. From this marriage was born a son, William Trey. She later married C. D. Smith, Jr. and from this marriage was born a daughter, Kelly Lynn.
Mrs. Smith attended Business College and studied to be a legal secretary, she worked for law firms in Georgia, Virginia, and West Texas. While in Georgia she did some modeling, and did a cover shoot for Seaboard Coastline Railroad.
Sandra retuned to Monahans in 2004 to care for her mother and step-father, Betty and Olie A. Strickland, both who preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by her sister Susie Salome.
Survivors include her son William Trey Smith and daughter Kelly Lynn Smith both of Monahans. Grandsons Hunter and Chase Standard and one great granddaughter Brylee Standard.
