Sandra Venzor

Sandra Anne Salcido Venzor, 49, of Monahans, went to be with the Lord on Monday, September 7, 2015 at Monahans Managed Care Center. She was born March 16, 1966 in Alpine, TX to Ruben G. and Teresa (Rodriguez) Salcido, Sr.

She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church and belongs to the Catholic Daughters of America. Sandra worked for Freedom Bail Bonds for 20 years and was recently employed with WTG in Pyote. She was a very caring and lovable person; was always willing to help anybody in need.

She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Grabiel and Carmen Salcido, Sr. and maternal grandparents, George and Maggie Rodriguez, Sr.

Sandra is survived by her son, Joseph S. Venzor of Monahans; daughter, Maria Antonia V. Mendoza and husband Alejandro of Monahans; parents, Ruben and Teresa Salcido, Sr. of Monahans; brothers, Ruben Salcido, Jr. and wife Candie of Balmorhea and George Salcido of Monahans; sister, Carmen Lee S. Villa of Monahans; 2 granddaughters,Leigh'Mari Mendoza and Larissa Anne Mendoza, both of Monahans; and several nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation will be Wednesday, September 9, 2015 from 2 - 6 PM at Harkey Funeral Home. The Rosary will be recited Wednesday evening at 7 PM at St. John Catholic Church. Funeral services will be Thursday, September 10, 2015 at 2 PM at St. John Catholic Church with Fr. James Hall officiating. Burial will follow at Monahans Memorial Cemetery. Peter Lara, James Dutchover, Lorenzo Rincon, Javier M. Castor, Tim Lara and Pedro Venzor will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Ruben Salcido, Sr., Pascal Q. Olivas, Michael Albarez, Willie Albarez, Marcos Sanchez, Phillip Lara, Alejandro Mendoza, Ernesto Martinez, and Juan Moreno, Jr.
