With heavy hearts, yet with deep gratitude for a life so memorably lived, we mark the peaceful passing of Shirley Ann Webb on August 18, 2026, in Monahans, Texas. Born in the warm embrace of Taylorville, Illinois, on July 2, 1931, Shirley’s journey traversed nearly a century—carving lasting imprints on all who crossed her path. Shirley "Shoo Shoo" is deeply loved by her family and friends and will always be a bright light in our lives that we will always carry within our hearts. She was full of optimism and positivity and kindness with an energy that was contagious. She was a devoted Lobo fan and she would attend events with a clipboard in hand to keep the stats. Shirley was awarded the Pat Fritsche award as the most outstanding supporter in 2010, a delight to her heart.

Shirley’s story is rooted in midwestern soil, where the gentle rhythms of Taylorville shaped her childhood and character. From her earliest days, Shirley possessed an innate kindness and an unwavering sense of devotion to those she loved. Her journey through life was marked not just by milestones, but by the communities she uplifted and the hearts she touched.

Though the details of Shirley’s day-to-day accomplishments remain close to those who knew her best, the enduring testament to her life will be found in the stories told in quiet remembrance, in the comfort she offered to others, and in the simple joys she brought into the lives she graced. Her presence, whether felt through a kind gesture, a tender smile, or a steady hand, was a balm to friends and family alike. She worked for 40 years in the medical profession as a lab and radiology technician in Kansas and Texas, touching many lives with her compassion and care.

Shirley spent her final days in Monahans, Texas, a community that embraced her as she did it. Here, she found her resting place—where the Texas sky stretches wide above and the spirit of those gone before gently calls.

Though not mandatory, guests are encouraged to wear green to honor her love for the Loboes. A funeral service will honor Shirley’s life on September 12, 2026, beginning at 10:00 a.m. at Harkey Funeral Home, 210 S Allen Ave, Monahans, TX. Following this, a graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. at Monahans Memorial Cemetery, 400 S Helen Ave, Monahans, TX. In these moments of gathering, family and friends will share in the memory of Shirley’s journey—a path marked by quiet resilience and enduring love.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, John and Anna Noren, her brother and sister in law, Clyde and Marge Noren.

Survivors include her daughter Barbara and husband Russell Miles, grandson Noah and wife Amanda Miles, granddaughters Mackenzie and husband Ryan Atkins, and Kelsea and husband Robert Last and her best friend Diane Jarrett. She also has 8 precious great grandchildren.

As those who knew her come together to bid farewell and celebrate the life Shirley Ann Webb lived, may her memory remain ever bright, woven into the hearts of every life she touched.
