Susan Harkey Dunn of Midland, Texas, passed away on May 24th, 2024, at the age of 74 after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her family.
Susan lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures, driving around looking at wild flowers, lunches with friends, and most of all, being with her family. She was an avid reader and enjoyed cooking. She worked for TQ Automation for the past 7 years and truly loved her job, bosses, and customers. She had an extensive group of close friends she considered family. Susan will especially be remembered for her selflessness, welcoming smile, big heart, gift of gab, and her determination.
Susan is survived by her children, DAnna (Brett) Dwigans, and Sam Ingram. 4 grandchildren Sabastian, Brooke, Iris, and Ellie. Sister Mary Harkey, brother Jim (Judy) Harkey; Numerous nieces and nephews.
Susan is preceded in death by son Gregory Sisk, mother Bessie Harkey, and father Claud Harkey.
Pallbearers will be Jim Harkey, Brett Dwigans, Anthony Ford, Garrett Ford, Greg Ford, and Cody Mooring.
Services will be held Wednesday, May 29th, 2024, 1:00 PM at Shiloh Baptist Church Monahans, Texas, with Jeppie Wilson officiating. Graveside will follow at Monahans Memorial Cemetery.
Susan's daughter would like to extend sincere thanks to Lindee and Darren Greer, Chelsee and Bryce Bundy, Micah Ford, Marion Myers, Mary Harkey, Jim and Judy Harkey, Dr. Madanat and staff, and Hospice of Midland for their excellent care during her fight with cancer.
