Terry Mcpheeters

Terry Dean McPheeters passed away on July 2, 2018 at home in Sugar Land, Texas after a long illness.

Terry was born November 29, 1949 in Odessa, Texas to L.O. and Gladys McPheeters.

Terry graduated from Monahans High School in 1968. He joined the United States Army September 1969 and proudly served his country until February 1972. He was a Viet Nam veteran. He also served in the Army National Guard from 1972 until 1974.

Terry Had a passion for fishing, if there was a puddle he would have a hook and line in it. He loved being on the water. He had a special cove at Toledo Bend that he called his church, he found peace in the beauty of his surroundings where he communicated with our Lord Jesus.

He was a good friend and neighbor in our small neighborhood in Sugar Land, always helping out others when he could.

Terry is preceded in death by his parents; L.O. and Gladys McPheeters.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Dorothea Stapp McPheeters and brothers Ronnie, and Gilbert McPheeters.
