Travis Gordon White got his much-deserved angel wings on November 25, 2018. He was such a great son, brother, dad, and uncle. Travis was born on June 15, 1944 to Bill and Kathleen White in Monahans, Texas.
He graduated from Kermit High School in 1964. The light of his life was his son, Travis Lee White who was born in May of 1971. Travis loved umpiring, coaching, and announcing little league baseball and always enjoyed a good bowling match. Travis also enjoyed telling jokes and was quite the prankster. He also had a strong passion for being a service tech.
He is preceded in death by his parents; Bill and Kathleen White, and wife; Jo Ann White.
Travis is survived by three sisters; Judy Evelyn Wyles and husband Michael, Carol Ann Hogue, and Peggy Louise Bennett and husband Jim, one son; Lee White and wife Cheryl, three grandchildren; Anthony White and wife Breann, Jason Nash and wife Olivia and Shelby Ahrlett and husband Jace, and one great granddaughter Rose Ahrlett. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 28, 2018, visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Harkey Funeral Home in Monahans, Texas. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, November 29, 2018 at the First Baptist Church in Kermit, Texas, burial will follow at Kermit Cemetery.
