Vickie Carter was born on December 5, 1973, in Monahans, Texas, to Wayne and Mary Carter. She passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on May 5, 2026, at the age of 52.

Vickie was a woman of remarkable strength, kindness, faith, and generosity. She was known for her warm heart, uplifting spirit, creativity, and unforgettable sense of humor. Throughout her life, she carried many titles, but the role she cherished most was being “Glamma.” Her grandchildren were the center of her world, and she took great pride in loving, supporting, and spoiling them every chance she could.

Vickie touched countless lives through her caring nature and involvement in the dance community as a proud and devoted Glamma. She had a special gift for making others feel loved and welcomed. Whether through her comforting words, thoughtful acts of kindness, or simply her presence, Vickie made an impact on everyone she met.

She also had a passion for decorating and baking, talents that reflected her creativity and loving spirit. From beautifully decorated spaces to homemade treats shared with family and friends, Vickie found joy in creating warmth and happiness for those around her. She was also a dedicated sales manager whose hard work, leadership, and commitment earned the respect of many throughout her career.

Above all, Vickie loved spending time with her family and friends. Her love for others, generous heart, and unwavering devotion to those she cared for will forever be remembered and deeply missed.

She is survived by her daughters, Tatyana and Breaunna Carnegary; her mother, Mary Carter; husband, Arthur Green; grandchildren, Preston Carnegary, Gabrielle Agoma, and Noah Twumasi; and 6 siblings: Belinda Adams, Sheliah Adams, Lewis Carter, Terri Carter-Calicutt, Wayne Carter Jr., and Destiny Carter. And many nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.

She was preceded in death by her father, Wayne Earl Carter; grandmother, Pinkie Lee Thorton; her granddad, Herman Carter; grandma, Thelma Carter, and glamson, Ethan Abegunde.

Pallbearers are as follows: Lewis Carter, Chris Adams, Zay Alford, Frank Dipasquale, Tony Dipasquale, Willie Willis, Jr., William Adams, and Michael Adams.

Honorary pallbearers are as follows: Wayne Carter Jr., Jayden Martinez, Preston Carnegary, Noah Twumasi, and Jayceon Smith.
