Wally Jr. Bernard went to the Lord on August 10, 2025. He was 73 when he went quietly while at home living with Ruben Bernard, his younger brother, and Teresa Bernard his loving sister in-law. Wally Jr Bernard was preceded in death by his father, Wally Holguin Bernard and his devoted mother, Vicenta Banuelos Bernard and his very close brother, Dr. Jack Bernard. Wally is survived by Thomas Garcia, his loving son, and George E Bernard and Ruben Bernard.
Wally Jr Bernard maintained a full and active life, working for his father in the family car shop business. Later he attended Odessa College where he obtained an associate degree in Radiology. Wally later started his own business in a mobile service x-ray company covering West Texas. He later sold that business and moved into the Houston area where he continued to provide mobile x-ray service.
Wally’s hobbies included wood crafting where he created many fine pieces of furniture, and he was an excellent carpenter at refurbishing old homes. His other love was supporting Thomas Garcia in his son’s music career. Thomas showed musical ability, and his dad became a devoted supporter of his career.
Wally will be buried in the Monahans cemetery near his father, Wally Holguin Bernard his grandfather, Frank Bernard and grandmother, Juliana Bernard.
Wally will be greatly missed by the entire Bernard and Holguin families. George and Ruben will miss their bother but are comforted by the fact he will be reunited with family and the Lord - Bless you Wally.
