Wendell Neil Harkey, 64, of Monahans, passed away Thursday, August 6, 2015 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born September 3, 1950 in Monahans to Ira Delmon and Evelyn Faye (Billie) Harkey.

He owned Chemical Tech Specialties since 1981.

He is survived by his son, Billy Beard of Round Rock; daughter, Peyton Ashley of San Angelo; parents, Evelyn "Billie" Harkey Peden and Thomas K. Peden of Tulsa, OK; brothers, Delmon L. Harkey of Tulsa, OK, and Jackie J. Harkey of Monahans; sister, Darla Harkey Presley of Tulsa, OK; and 5 grandchildren.

Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at 11 AM at Immanuel Baptist Church with Dr. Charles Inman officiating.
