Cara Ulrich

April 6, 1987 — January 4, 2023

Bayles Ulrich

Born in Monahans, Texas on April 6th, 1987, Cara Baylee Ulrich took her time coming into this world (like a full week past her due date, time) and if you knew Baylee, then you understand how this was a perfect precursor to her casual personality and laid-back temperament.

The third ‘B’ of the Killer B’s, she lit up the room with her hilarious impersonations and infectious laugh.  She was a beautiful person inside and out and was usually found complete in her boots, baseball cap, all black attire and lavish eyelashes that obstructed her vision but were incredible none-the-less.  Landing anywhere near her at a kitchen table usually resulted in a drum sequence and full on opera show but the impressive solo performance put on by Baylee during the song was worth the while.

Without hesitation, Baylee was a creative and unrelenting, champion-level entrepreneur who founded numerous ‘Cara B’ startups, allowing people access to services otherwise hard to find in the area.  She had a way of developing life-long friendships everywhere she landed and had no less than hundreds of people of all ages and personalities that loved and adored her.

Residing in Monahans, Texas for the past few years, Baylee was the loving mother of two talented, beautiful girls, Kenedie Jade, age 13 and Khloe Rene, age 9 who have demonstrated a level of strength and faith throughout this difficult process parallel to none.

She is the granddaughter of the late Larry E. Lackey and Bill and Jane Ulrich and survived by grandmother, Audrey C. Lackey.  Loving daughter of mother, Penny Neeley and husband Mike Neeley, father Mark Ulrich and fiance Michelle Zepeda.  Treasured sister to Brea Green, Brooke Kirchoff and Beth Patrick and Jennifer Whitmore.  Niece, cousin, sister-and-law, friend and comedian to many.  Missed by all.

The Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, January 8th at the Ward County Event Center followed by a gathering of friends and family.
