James Roy

December 17, 1971 — December 9, 2020

Midland, Texas

James Henry Roy born in Monahans, gained his wings December 9, 2020 to be with his lord and savior. He resided in Midland where he went to Midland College for Truck Driving School, during his career he traveled 48 states going all across the east and west coast.

After Mariah was born he took a step back from 48 states and became a juvenile detention officer, but soon realized he missed his love for the big truck and went back to driving 18 wheelers locally.

He was a family oriented man, with a Big Heart. In some form, we all have memories of him that we can hold onto and cherish for the rest of our lives.

He was a big football fan and loved to watch his Eagles play. He had a passion for hats, motorcycles, watches and most importantly his one and only grand baby Porkchops. (Zariyah Williams)

James Henry is preceded in death by his father Clayton Roy, his mother Joyce Roy and his brother Johnny Roy. May they all Rest In Peace and continue to watch over us.

He is survived by his sister, Dana Roy, her three kids D’ausha Rabon, De’Anthony Rabon, Alaya Rabon; sister, Denita Roy Champaigne and her two kids Troy Anderson and Jayln Champaigne; nephew/son Darrel Roy and his five kids Darrel Roy Jr, Dezmond Roy, Maknight Roy, Alaina Roy and Da’Kai Roy; daugther, Erika Roy; his lovely wife of 32 years Bell Roy and their three  kids, Shayla Corrales, Da’Nay Roy and Mariah Roy.
