Mireya Ramirez

Loving Wife and Mother, Mireya C. Ramirez, 43, of Monahans, Texas gained her angel wings on July 31, 2022, in Lubbock, Texas.

Visitation for Mireya will be held Thursday, August 4, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and Friday, August 5, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM at Harkey Funeral Home with a Rosary to be recited at St. John’s Catholic Church at 7:00 PM August 5, 2022.  Mass will be 10:00 AM on Saturday, August 6, 2022, at St. John’s Catholic Church with internment to follow at Monahans Memorial Cemetery.

Mireya was born on January 15, 1979, to Jose and Martha Carrasco in Palomas Numero 1, Mexico.

Mireya was a beautiful, loving wife and mother who loved watching her son play sports and being a “Lobo” mom and attending all her children’s school functions.  She loved hanging out with her daughters and going on outings with family and friends. Anyone that knew Mireya knew that she had a smile that would light up the room. You could always find her joking around with her great nephews and giving them a hard time. Mireya will be missed greatly!

Mireya is preceded in death by her father, Jose Carrasco; her grandparents, Apoloño Carrasco, Santos O. Carrasco, Cruz Rios, and Rosa Rios; her brother, Albertico Carrasco.

Let to cherish her memory is her husband, Gilbert Ramirez; her daughters, Arianna Ramirez, and Maritza Ramirez; her son, Ryan Ramirez; her mother, Martha Carrasco; her brother, Leo Carrasco and wife, Cruz Carrasco; her sister, Nora Bejarano and husband, Obed Bejarano; nieces, Yesenia Guzman, Lilly Bejarano, Samantha Carrasco, and Yaritza Bejarano; nephews, Obed Bejarano Jr., Julian Carrasco, and Domingo Bejarano.
