Sherrie Lynn Burke McDaniel passed away peacefully on September 8, 2021 in Monahans Texas.

Sherrie was born to William (Bill) H. Burke Jr. and wife Sarah Clair on February 22, 1954 in Monahans Texas.

She attended elementary school in Georgia and Monahans and graduated from Monahans High School in 1972. After high school she attended Angelo State University, where she met the love of her life Lowell McDaniel. They were married on October 12, 1973 and had two children Brandee and Bryan. Together they ran Burke Welding Supply and Tool Company for 48 years and owned it for the last 28 years.

Sherrie loved her family and friends, Monahans Loboes, Texas Tech Red Raiders, Dallas Cowboys, and her dogs.

She is preceded in death by William H and Mary Frances Burke. Mildred and Thomas Bryan. Allie Mae and Thomas Woodrow Simpkins.

Her memory will live on in her parents William and Clair Burke Jr of Monahans, husband Lowell McDaniel, daughter Brandee McDaniel of Monahans, son Bryan McDaniel and wife Mandy of Melissa, Tx, sister Terrie Lindley and husband Bob of Lubbock, Tx, Sister-in-law Roxie Blair and husband Matt of Midland, Tx.  Granddaughters Allyson McDaniel and Laykin McDaniel, grandson Blayne McDaniel and great grandson Luke Cervantes. Nieces Sarah Hester and husband Derek of Levelland,Tx,  and Melody McDaniel of Fort Worth, Tx. Nephews Cody Lindley of Allen Tx, Jason Lindley and wife Bailey of Ropesville, Tx and Kyle Blair and fiancé Hali of Big Spring, Tx.  Great nieces and nephews Kylor, Hudson and Kam Hester and Ethan, Cameron, Owen, and Hayden Lindley. Along with numerous lifelong friends.

Pallbearers will be Lance Porter, Nathan Gaddis, Josh Gaddis, Junior Cordova, Bobby Gibson, and Timmy Fuentes.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at Harkey Fuenral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at The First Baptist Church in Monahans, Texas with Pator Chris Powell officiating, burial will follow at Monahans Memorial Cemetery.
